Description
for the month of January the airport recorded the highest wind velocity at 64 mph.I was close to a lake so I wanted share some of the waves.I stood behind a tree to steady the camera and to keep the water off

This is a lake? with waves like that I thought it was an harbour at first, thats some powerful wind Richard, for it to whip up white horses like these. Excellent collage, I'm staying in the warmth for the next few days. I thought about venturing out for at least 30 seconds then changed my mind after opening the door, I'm getting to be a right wuss, but then when you rely on crutches it's not advisable to go out in strong winds anymore. Great collage thanks for sharing, would hate to be in a dingy on there. Bravo!!!!!

I thought these were of a very choppy sea at first, but, a lake?? These are excellent captures of stormy waters Richard -you can really see the power of the water in all four shots! Superb pics my friend!!

a very good study of these waves. I don't get out and take pictues when our wind gets up that high. Too dangerous around all these huge trees we have in our city.
