Description

this was inspired by two guys, fuegofeeton2 his cel shaders in carrara are brilliant, and RBLUE what he said about less be more really made sense. I just wanted to see if poser could produce a more traditional comic look well not sure if I got it but I always like new challenges, thanks for looking and thanks for the comments

I need to look more at Poser! This looks great. By the way, have you tried Inkscape yet? (Freeware) It has a great image trace rasterizer! Works a lot like Adobe Illustrator's "Make Live". It will black and white any image, (Contrat adjustable) and create a super clean black line/area image which can be exported in PNG form. Makes an image a lot like an ink painted comic strip overlay.

REALLY REALLY COOL IMAGE! This image caught my eye in the Digital Comics Section. It invokes that cool "back in the day" process when inkers labored all night behind the drawing board. The flat coloring is awesome too; but that's due to the high definition in contrast. It reminds of the Dr. Martins Watercolor Wash set. The heavy blacks have a modern but nostalgic feel. I think you may have a difficult time with specific lighting situations. Eager for more!
