Description

This is a follow up from the 7up render. As I had complaints that people did'nt like 7up I am back with Cherry Coke. All tips from last image were welcolmed. If you are wandering why there are still no drops of water it is because the ones tried do did'nt look very credible so if you have any more tips on water drops. fire away Thanks

The wood Texture looks good, but the colors are not my type...:) . Also, the depth of field is not natural, i can see the start of the effect. The light is nice and I've never tasted Cherry Coke...

The can texture i redrew from a scan. the wood texture took with my fuji 4900zoom and the floor is from R055 texture pack wood and stone. As for the depth of field it could do with some tweaking as extrapixel pointed out.

cool wood-texture, great - the depth of field is a problem, I cant handle it too - the waterdrops, hm, maybe the easiest way is to make them on the frontside of the can-texture and give them an extra-relief? when you model them, you need the condense around too (I hope I found the right words, auf Deutsch wde ich sagen, dass da Kondensfeuchtigkeit um die Tropfen herum auf der Metalobeflhe sein mste, die dann vom Tropfenverlauf entfernt wird - sauschwer, rat ich mal ;-)

Hey... no 7up this way? (lol)... If I wanted to add some waterdrops I do it that way: chose some poligons (as many as waterdrops ya want) from the can and mark them, then separate (I hope thats right, cause I have a german version of C4D - separate is in the functions-menue) them and put them in a hypernurb (the same way you can create running down drops, only with more chosen polys). Now give every poligon a different size and extrude them all a bit that ya get a nice waterdrop. Then add the texture for the water with transparence-setting of 1,33 or so and thats all. After that you can give the can an extra texture with alphachannel for the condense... man thats difficult for me to write it in english, but I hope you understand what I mean! ThanX for the posting
