Description

The smaller the bird, the faster they fly. After the last couple of weeks, I'm convinced that they fly at near supersonic speed! It's taken many hundreds of shots just to come up with the four here, which are far from perfect. I've seen some stellar images on the internet, and I can see it will take me lots of practice to get a really sharp shot of a small bird. By the time I press the shutter, the action is already over. My reaction time was probably twice as fast 25 years ago, :). But it's fun trying. Thanks so much for your comments and views on my recent images!

These are exquisite shots, beautifully presented here. These may not be as good as YOU want them to be, but they're fantastic and stand well on their own. I love the sense of movement you've been able to freeze, and the personalities of the birds that you've captured...it's a rare talent to be able to do that, to see it, capture it, AND present it. Fantastic work!
