Description

an image I made back in September 2006 and finally decided to post somewhere... This was made when I was still really struggling with lighting. Originally it wasn't the final render but looking at them now I think the others will look too dark on many peoples' screens. No postwork. Aiko 3 Character - Ember by Sarsa and Thorne (rendo) Clothing - Alice by Thorne and Mada (DAZ), with "Nightmares & Dreams" textures by Anna Benjamin and Sarsa (DAZ) Sapphire Fox Hair Hairpiece from "gothic lolita" outfit at DAZ Background - "On a Certain Night" for millenium environments.

When I saw this I got a a real sense of the emotion via the character's expression and the background; cute girl with a dark appearance/surroundings. Though, my eye is a little bit confused by her posture, she looks like she's leaning her back on the tree behind her, but the depth of field of the background makes it look like the tree's a few meters behind her. Very cool!
