Description

Kommrad-Inquisitor Konstantin Igor Ursusanov, sat deep in thought, the only sound a faint hum from the servo-skull hovering nearby. "Palmer..." Konstantine said aloud, his eyes fell to the photoscan on the open book in front of him. "....damned puritanical fool!" The servo-skull bobbed and hummed. Nine long years he had searched for the artifact and now that his goal was finally within his grasp could it really be in danger of being lost? Konstantine's agents had 'obtained' the final piece of the puzzle that would give him the location of the artifact and was now secure in the chapel-reliloque of the Order of the Sanguine Scroll on Exulta. The space station was a sprawling web of habitats, transit tubes and derelict ships and more importantly off the main shipping lanes. Under the watchful gaze of Sister Superior Sledge it should be a secure place for the rendezvous, away from prying eyes. But Inquisitor Palmer was just two systems away. He'd be suspicious if Palmer was merely in the same sector but two systems away? By The Emperor ! (Konstantine made the sign of the Aquila) That was too much of a coincidence and he didn't believe in coincidences. Konstantine and Palmer had never met face to face but several occurrences over the years led him to wonder if Palmer had had a hand in thwarting his well laid plans. "Well not this time!" Konstantine slammed his fist down on the table, the servo-skull bobbed and hummed (part of an on-going story set in the Games Workshop WH40K setting) Disclaimer: The artist is not affiliated with Games Workshop nor is this image endorsed by Games Workshop)
