Description
Most of what I have to say is in text in the image, but I'll add a bit.
Not all of the IBL lights are the same intensity.
Omnidirectional: 50%
Front-right-up: 80%
Below: 80%
Behind: 80%
Front-left-up (used with spot): 55%
And the spot (used with Front-left-up): 75%
There are others who are much better than I at doing this kind of thing, but I'm passing on what knowledge I have. Also, I don't remember where I got the map of the light probe, but many thanks to its original creator.

Sweetness! I tried to get the same effect using a spot with half a dozen soft infinite, but this method looks much more efficient (once I get my head wrapped around it). Thanks a bunch for the mini tutorial!

This has to be the most simple to follow tutorial ever made. I say that, not in sarcasm, but I have in truthfulness, NEVER fully grasped lighting in Poser and have relied from the outset, on other peoples' light sets. You have given me that little shove to try my own and I thank you for it. This is going to my pavorites. Steve :o)

Well I certainly appreciate your educating me. I got excited when you said it was not rocket science as I flunked that course. Then you started talking about light probes and it got me thinking of a test my doctor has been on my case to get, but (pun intended) I have been backing out of my appointments. You can understand as much as I wanted to I could not continue to look at your post. Besides she was not in a bikini.
