Description

Samson - considered to be the most colorful character in the Bible. Credits: DAZ - Mike2, Anton texture, Olympian outfit Hair - Wave hair Columns, FreeStuff at Rosity Background - Colloseum Gate from PoserWorld Rope belt - from Huck at Gastley's Retexturing and poses by me. Poser with very little post work in Photoshop (but alot of prework in Photoshop) The vascular bump file is a royal pain to work with... no matter what I do with it, it never turns out right. Some veins look correct and some look like they are sunk into the skin. And thanks to anyone I might have missed.

This is impressive work. Love the facial expression. The body texturing is good. The vein map works pretty well, especially along the shoulders and arms. The only suggestion I might offer is that his hands don't look pressed flat enough against the pillars to exert enough force to push them out of place. Thanks for giving us a look at this Bible character.

Damn. And they call ME a vandal... ^^ LOL Very kewl picture Cherok! Great expression and poses! You could have touched up on the sunken vains, plus the placing of the back columns is a bit unlogical, so that's why it gets an 8 (don't be sad - I almost never give away 10's) ^^

Very nice! Love the lighting and texturing, although I see what you mean about the bump maps looking inverted on his legs. If you're going for historical accuracy, though, Samson's eyes had been gouged out before he brought down the temple. I would expect him to have a beard, too, though that wasn't explicitly mentioned in the story. Artistically, it still works.

Okay the thing I love about this the most is the fact that the poser figure looks like it is interacting with the scene. Too many people make a scene which looks like the hands are "floating" over the objects - this one looks like it is really pushing thoses pillars... Wonderful work.
