There's a nice expression on the big Ape, but the glass/sky/mirror thing doesn't do anything to advance the story . . .that stuff was very much a part of Bryce and CG years ago (because it looked neat, and other stuff like soft shadows were too hard to do), but its too "cold" a look for me.
