Description

Hello! Just to show you, what we are fighting against for the moment. We had a Lokal Rat Hunter coming tuesday to put poison up unter the roof. I hate it, because I am so scared for our little doggie Magnus to get any of it, so we must be very careful. I just wanted a trap, but she didnt listen to what I wanted. That was tuesday and it still gnaws severel places so we all can hear it. >:-/ (The shot is not best quality, because it was taken through the window) Not that I am scared of a RAT or mice, but I prefare NOT to have them indoor, nor around the house. I hope you DONT like it :))) I promise to post something NICE for you tomorrow :)) Thanks for your ever so nice comments to yesterdays "Hitten In The Dark" Have a very Nice and peaceful Saturday. I am a little busy. Must drive by my self to Copenhagen to visit my friend, who came to DK From Gr. Canaria. And it is still very strong breeze till stormy. I will be back for commenting in the evening.

They are so cute, BUT like you I don't want them in the house. We have got woodmice everywhere, not quite so serious.

lol I'm quite sure Magnus would enjoy hunting those creatures and they don't survive a moment when he gets them ;o)))))))))))))))))))))))) Anyway I sure understand the problem with the poisen, are traps not available in the stores? or are the only for mice? It's a very nice picture lol you have clean windows ;o))))))))))))))))))

A lovely little guy, but I wouldn't want him in my attic, either. The sound would drive me over the edge. (Not that it's a very long trip! LOL!) Good luck, my friend!

Well caught and I am like you I just hate them inside. Sometimes our cat brings one in and I don't rest until it is dead.

This is a very brave shot...I have one or two of these each spring in my attic and always hate going up top to set out the bait for them. I can't understand how they think they can just move in like that and not pay rent! LOL Hope your trip was a good one...

A well composed and sharp picture, which is not always easy with such wild animals. For sure there is much grain, but I guess that it was unavoidable if you set your digital camera at a high ISO setting. I like the story too:-))) 5+++!

I hate these critters. I saw the first one in my life last year in my porch. We lived in Alberta before and they never had rats there. Id like to know how they can get in the attic. I have never seen one crawling up the side of the house. Does the rat guy come back to remove the rat if it dies? You were a lot braver than me I would never get a picture of one I would be going to fast the other way. LOL

From what I hear if you live near an open field or wild space rodents are a fact of life. My understanding is that the best thing to do is to close all gaps in the walls and leave no food out. They come in to eat mostly.... Good catch!

For a second I thought you photographed the person who lives around the corner from my job. We have some big, Norway Rats in the area where I work. They're BIG...they're actually quite cute, they're surly, they're cute and they know it, and they are not kind and gentle people. Now, domesticated rats are nice to have around, only they escape and shred telephone books. I hope that the residents were evicted from your attic, but I also have to say that this is a great photo.
