I think that this image makes me feel the vastness that we are in, and how we are mere specks. But at the same time the strength of our spirits, the wings that we have inside us can carry us up beyond our feelings of loneliness, make us giants among tall trees. We're never alone if we just listen to our internal, stronger part of ourselves, our souls :) Inspiring image bogart137, truly awe inspiring.

Except for this being an outstanding and very wekll greated artwork, I think it shows the loss of all hope! Amazing details my friend! Muis

my first thought is that it's deliciously ambiguous. she seems depressed (not just sad or upset, but fully depressed), and the object that seems to play a role in that depression is the fence. but is she locked out or in? either way she's right at the gate. along with the set of her shoulders, and the strength within the resignation of her pose makes me feel that she is down for the moment but not done struggling. the plants, stone figure and water seem much more neutral than the fence. water generally represents the unconscious, the rarely explored depths of the self. and the stone head makes me think of a frozen identity, who one is to other people. i have an instinctive reaction to the plants in your works i haven't really analyzed before. i think they can be seen as both internal and external elements. internally, they make me think of the natural resilience one has, surprising aspects of the self that one takes for granted or doesn't really think about. the strengths, wildness, and creativity that one has but rarely thinks about. externally, i think it's the same sort of thing but within the world. the funny, strange beauty of life and everything that happens. the things you can't predict, can't understand, that seem to come from nowhere but are absolutely necessary for life. aesthetically i really like the hair and skin, which is very different from your usual aesthetic. not that i like it more than your other figures, i just think it's an interesting departure, especially for this picture. the pale waxy skin and limp hair are part of what makes me feel she's depressed. on a purely personal level, i love it. i think it's absolutely great, and really resonates with me.

oops, almost missed this one ;) another beauty...gives me the feeling of contemplation, isolation and loneliness and perhaps the need to escape but unable to because there is no place to run...

What do I think and feel? This image makes me feel hopeful. Personally, I see the cracked statue as either a symbol of heritage/history/culture/belief, disease, or stress, and the woman is healing herself through the powers of nature and contemplation. The idea of hopefulness to me comes from the colorful shrub contrasted against the more stark ones and also in the rays of light surrounding her in the water, and just beyond the gate. Maybe she needs to take time alone to contemplate and heal or get used to something that has drastically changed in her life. The title intrigues me. Is she blinded from her own truth, from something opressive in her world, or is it a physical condition? I believe we all project our own thoughts into images. Everyone could tell a different story about it. Whatever the intended meaning, it's interesting and beautiful as are all of your pieces in the gallery. A work of art.
