Description

New Fridge Jay sat waiting and scratching his head in frustration. “I just don’t understand what would take soooo long to take the damn pictures off the fridge so the movers can do their job and get outta here!” Jane was taking great care to remove many years of her children’s creations, each treasure she held in her hand brought moments captured of youth, imagination and love. Most were curled into themselves, having weathered many years clinging by a single magnet. “I remember this one well” Jane thought as tears flow the fond memories down her cheeks, impatience awaits in the other room. My daughter has had a beautiful son, Adrian, 10/19/07, and has moved out of the home, the nest….to begin her life as an adult. Just before Christmas, as I sat saddened by the void of my beloved dog Sven for the holidays, a young stray male cat came to me and has become my forever love. I had him fixed and he is now living in my home and my heart. I truly believe that in my moment of sadness, Svenny brought me his love in this amazing cat. I quit a job that I loved and hated for 6 years for another one, doing what I love to do. No learning curve, its been nice…. Wow, your still reading? Get up and stretch man! I don't know if changes are good or not but sometimes are necessary we like it or not, he he he. Love this work is very creative, powerful and with great textures.... goes straight to my fav ;O)

I see a bright,colorfull city on the Mediteranian ,with small streets and small piazzas ,where you can sit down and have an espresso or a glass of local wine ( or 2 or 3 ).Hm... I think this is a sign I need a vacation . Dinese all our lives we go through changes, a door closes and another one opens and often they hurt ,but when we look back later well see that it was all for the best ,without change our lives would grow a dull routine . I`m so glad that you found a new soulmate ,they come to you when you need them .

hi grandma, strange idea the kid flew, with her kid , the nest. nesting on her own now. glad you like your new job, got a new companion, HELPED him ( poor kitty), and are generally back on track. now you need to get you very late christmas presents ( if you still need one, you already got so much) and the new year went off great.i could do with a large tupperware box, perhaps we can arrange a tupperware-party?? have a great weekend. monica

Sometimes, the best presents are the ones that come package in fur and love. I lost my little girl, Kiki, between Christmas and New Years. We'll see if someone comes along to share again. And hey, a new grandchild is a good thing too. :oD Glad you like the new job. Love the happy and cheerful picture. Love the story too. It's the way life is supposed go. Outstanding work. Bunny

This is a beautiful bright fractal with a great story. I'm glad you have found a lovely little ball of fur to fill the gap. It is always a wrench when the children leave but it also opens up new horizon too. I too had to clear my fridge the other day and it is such a wrench to part with the treasures and a box isn't half as good.

Im soo sad for your loss and happy for your Gains!! About ten years ago i lost two "Hairy Faced" friends. It was WAY worse than when my dear Mother died! She wasnt there looking in your eyes almost all the preceeding 14 years. And then came Clyde from New Mexico....rest area 37? Then a just grown pup- a girl found there as a staving baby. She was a cat person and thus Clyde won the lottery! Love without condition and arguments and so few requirements-how perfectly divine as atoma says-how simply divine! Just know that if you die alone your cat WILL eat you! hehee! Dont take it personally! Its the wild kingdom thingy! hehee! (Crig Fergusen-the late late show after Letterman says that-he IS so DAFT) Your work is a favorite favorite-and so well presented!

There must be some truth to the saying that all things work out for the good. Sven sent you a new love, your daughter gave you a new love, and you are finding your way again. Just remember, when growth in this life stops, it's usually because death has occured. So keep growing, changing, evolving. In the meantime, keep creating. This one, along with the story, did bring tears to my eyes, memories, and all the rest. Then your story brought more tears to my eyes, remembering the furry faces in my life that have gone to greater adventures in the next phase of being. Sigh. I'm done. (-:

I wish I could say that I understood how you feel at this moment! For me, it will be some years before I find myself in your shoes. I am sorry to hear of your precious pets passing, but it does seem like Sven had someone waiting for you. I do understand that change is good. And it looks well on you!
