... I created this as a Birthday dedication for my friends on Deviant Art. I am not 100% settled on this title. I used this pose some time ago for another art piece (Moon Dreamer from memory) and this particular idea was born back then but its taken me this long to finally tackle it. Phoenix Rising is ideal, but it is a much used title and I wanted to find something original. I had quite a few spring to mind but none seemed to truly "fit" - no "ka-ping", you know LOL. I know there are no "flames" per se in this image, but I thought the metaphor might work? If anyone has any suggestions .... I'd love to hear them (please note me). Credits: Poser model and pose used as reference for painting the figure in Photoshop (looks nothing like the original figure, which is always my intention , clothes hair, background also painted using and combining different brushes. I am trying to develop my painting skills these days ... but still use other elements (not enough time to do it all myself, lol). See below for vendor credits.
