Description
In the spirit of PJ's margarita, I thought I'd put this one up. Nothing so tasty as a margarita- just lowly water. However, it was placed in front of the candle, and with the low lighting of the tavern I thought "Wow, what a neat shot that would be! Now if only I can pull it off with my point and shoot cam..."
After fiddling with the few "fiddle-able" settings on the camera, this is the best I could come up with. I was actually pleased that it came out as clear as it did using my shaky grip!
Of course it did require a bit of postwork to get to this stage, and it's still too grainy for my taste, but all in all I liked the feel of it.
I'm planning on getting a new cam as soon as Uncle Sam sends my tax refund, so we'll see how that goes! :)

Ooooh, I love images like this. I'm always taking them myself, though so few of them are posted. The sense of lighting and mood here is superb and I love the rich, evocative colors. This image lends itself to so many stories! Fantastic work!

If you hadn't said water I would have though either rum or whiskey in a water glass. A rich golden glow! Fabulous composition as well. I think this might be almost as refreshing as my margarita! LOL
