Description

This is some sort of thistle but not the stinging type, and not the Scotish type neither. Somebody may know the proper name, if so please tell. I liked it and thought it made an excellent subject for an extreme macro shot. I'm pleased with the result myself, although not perfect, i though it good enough to post. This is the last of the Extreme stuff for now, but not the last of the flowers. Before I post the flowers though, I will show you how I get my macro's, thats tomorrows post sorted. Very impressive macro Jeff, I'm tempted to get this lens, looks pretty good stuff but although I'm a sucker for temptation of most things I'm sticking to saving every penny to get the DSLR that I'm wanting. (but never say never lol) Great series.

Aren't macros great? I love the whole new world that opens when you look at a macro shot. Lovely shot, great colours with all the shades of blue, very interesting flower/thistle:-) Hugs Thank you for your very insightful comments on my 'So Free' image :-)You are spot on!
