i didnt think there was so many different sparrows .i only know of our house sparrow and a dunock which im not sure is a true sparrow .i just love looking at your bird pics they are always so full of detail and colourful .another excellent capture maria :o) mick

One of the reasons I enjoy your pictures so much (above and beyond the cute factor)is the clarity and detail that allows me to see things I wouldn't normally see on the birds at my feeder. What I noticed about this guy is that he needs his toenails trimmed. I didn't realize they had such long nails.

Still another gorgeous image, great detail, and a wonderful capture of this avian fellow's apparent personality. I love sparrows, but they're such quarrelsome, tempestuous critters! Of course that's what I like about them, and this capture is absolutely gorgeous! I love the details, especially the feathers and yeah, the long, sparrow-talons! Great work!
