Description

Okay, I've still not perfected modeling the human figure, so I've had to resort to using multible programs to do the work for me concerning this project. I'm in the process of creating a model based off of a old drawing of mine (http://tn3-1.deviantart.com/fs15/300W/f/2007/036/9/7/Shirtless_Spider_by_ShirtlessSpider.jpg) called Spider Punk. He'll not be animated and will simply be a static model I'm using to learn the programs. The base human figure was modeled and adjusted in Make Human. A good chunck of the editing was done in Blender 2.45 (the reason I'm posting it in this gallery). And the hair was created in Zbrush 3 (through Mask Extracting). The image was also rendered in Zbrush3 because it has beautiful preset materials and lighting. I truely wish Blender had preset materials and lighting like this. Anyway, there's still a lot of work to do to this model. Most notibly the Spider half. ;)

Very good modeling work! But you must post (move) it in the ZBrush gallery because the final render was done in ZB3.

Great job, Richard! Wish I could offer you some help, but as you know, I'm a 2D guy! LOL I still wish I had a fraction of your talent! Keep in touch!

Hi there. I was wondering what exactly have you made yourself in this image? I only ask because I thought Make Human is a program that pretty much creates the base mesh figures for you. I think you need to really work on the hair. I would try building the hair up in stages.
