I think it a blue Egrat I not sure? Any way it the day that the sky was overcase with the fog at Late Martin I took this shot. Yes trees cast a shadow on cloudy days Just check it out. took this last month. thanks for all and comments and votes and just a looking.

Awesome shot! I think it might be a Great Blue Heron, but it seems a little light in color. Not sure. They nest near where we used to have some land, and the young sound absolutlely primal when they see the parents coming in with food!

Birds like this are so fascinating. They're alot more alien to us mammals than you'd think at first look. Nifty photo, the overcast diffuses the light really nicely for something like this.
