Description

What do feelings and a river have in common? From the surface, it would appear that they have nothing in common. However, upon closer inspection one can see that both can run very deep. Sometimes feelings can run so deep that we are not aware of them. Rivers can run deep... they give life to our planet. Our feelings give us life as well. They are what make us who we are. They are what make our life experience. They flow along smoothly most of the time and yet they can suddenly change as if taking on a new direction. Whatever we think about this pondering, we can know that our lives are an out picturing of our feelings... the feelings that are sourced by our thought seeds. So today... just for today... let us take a moment to allow ourselves to be fully present in our lives and allow ourselves to fully feel each and every thought and emotion. We may find it interesting or we may find it distracting. However we find it, we will be fully present in our NOW (no other when). Our NOW is the only moment in time that we truly have. We might even try adding a little passion to our lives this day and watch where that wonderful river of life flows. It will be most interesting to see what happens next. How divine. How simply divine. This is a single flame created with Apophysis 2.07. The seed script for this image is the plastic balls script by Daniel Eaton at Deviant Art. I applied the Mehdi Quick Mirror filter to my original flame and got this four way flip. You can find the PS filter here: http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/quickmirror.htm Thank you for stopping by to look at my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. You have made my world a little brighter. May all of your clouds have silver linings and be decorated with rainbows and may there always be peace in your valley of life. Namaste.

Really beautiful image Gayle and in all honesty a equally beautiful comparison of feelings to a river. Once more you manage to touch those around you through your art and commentary my friend.

You have used some of my favorite earth colors against the dramatic black background to create a stunning piece. It is so intricate and beautiful. I like your comparison to feelings and rivers.
