Description
This is the second render I've completed, with one being a test and a few WIPs. It is a Pats fan, or player, after Sunday's defeat. I have two inspiriations for the image. The first was a picture of Brady sitting on the ground after being sacked. That inspired me to do this image. The second inspiration was the image itself I got from anime. A while ago there was this sports/boxing anime and the image of the main character sitting in the ring after being knocked out. This image known in anime circles and has been used in a few shows since.
I felt it was a perfect fit in terms of mood.
In the center stage the Pats were 18-0 and on the verge of history to become the second team to have a perfect season. What happened was the Giants Defense knocking Brady out like one boxer taking another down in the final round; 17-14 Giants. Instead of History, Defeat.
Now the Pats are 18-1 and sitting on a cold and lonely stage; instead of the Team that Was, they are the Team that Could-Have-Been.
Anyways I hope everyone likes it. I tried to make it in under two hours so I had to cut a few corners (most notably on the jersey where I just colored the one that came with poser blue and put a number on front). I used SimonG2 and a few props I quickly found and DLed from renderosity.
Just so everyone knows, I'm a Dolphins fan so I'm kind of torn, I'm sorry the Pats suffered defeat, but I'm also more apprecitive of what the 1972 Phins accomplished. This years Pats is one of the most dominate teams ever yet they fell short. I had a feeling something was coming when I saw Brady repeatedly hit. The main reason the Pats have had troubles sweeping the lowly Phins is Miami knows how to get pressure on Brady and he just doesn't handle being hit well.
