Description

I got a used wide format printer off of Craigslist, and I wanted to try printing up a nice poster with lots of red, yellow, and orange. So, I was just playing around trying to create a nice painterly autumn scene, but I decided that I needed a focal point, so I added the sauropod. I did a lot of post production work in photoshop to give it more dramatic contrasts and colors as well as to make it look a little bit impressionistic. Of course, only after I finished the pic did I realize I was missing a cable for my Epson Sylus 7500. Daniel Eskrige Saurischia.com

love the first light/dawn feel to this. Really good mood filled lighting putting the dino in stark contrast.

Nice render, my friend. I hope the dinosaur did not sit on the landing stage ;o) That printer does A1 sized paper or roll paper? It costs about £1,700 over here ( c. $3,300 ), and it is not even the most recent model! Years ago my bosses employed a new analyst who blew our department's entire yearly printer allocation on a similar, large format printer/plotter from Hewlett Packard. The ink cartidges each cost a week's wages then. I hope that you can get compatible cartidges / ink at a decent price. Regards, John.
