Description
Here is, finally, the other main character from my upcoming film 'The Chronicles of Nerm'! Targ is a gruff, no-nonsense guy that will have a very short fuse compared to BG in the previous Nerm film. A four-armed alien with grasping hand-like feet and armed with a plethora of pistols, Targ is a guy not to be messed with! This still represents the quality of the final film.
Although I have a pretty complete shot here (that I had to create for another purpose), this is not the finished Targ model. In the end, his skin will change to a more alien look, plus some other small detailing.

simply awesome. I love the texture work, the creativity of the character and the clean render. lighting is well done also. great job. Is this a still shot from the movie, or was this shot set up and rendered. If this is a still shot from the movie, this screams pixar type production quality. great job. either way. It's almost as if you really don't need feedback from this community, still, even the more advanced users could use a good dose of inspiration and this hit the spot for me. Thanks

Checked out the link...Masterful computer graphic work in every dimension of the craft. I guess we'll see this in the SIGGRAPH screenings. Excellent heroic character here BTW, reminescent of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ martian Tharks. Wow!

Another fine character, I think in this human/pig type skin will enable the audience relate to him more but a different skin will obviously make him look more alien, maybe a rhino/elephant skin to emphasize his roughness.

You should be working for one of the big CGI companies, your talent is unmistakeable. I wouldn't think it would be long before someone "Up There" notices you outstanding work. Can't wait to see the film and I hope it is a feature length one:)
