Description

A planetary nebula can result as a star with mass of less than several times the solar mass ("low mass" star) ejects mass in the red giant stage, near the end of the star's life. In this stage, the central part of the star, which is about the size of the earth, consists of a carbon ash core, a shell in which helium is fusing to carbon, and a shell where fusion of hydrogen to helium has temporarily ceased. The rest of the star's envelope has expanded to about 70 times larger than it had during most of its lifetime (almost the size of the orbit of Mars).http://fusedweb.llnl.gov/ this one flame from Apophysis 2.07 beta and from mutations / transforms . I left it large so the details can be seen thanks for viewing and any comments a recent post of mapps and richardphotos

It's Awesome Richard. It reminds me of a fantasy game I used to play, its like a gigantic spiral staircase, and also like a sea shell. I'm not too keen on green as a colour but this works, and I find pleasing to the eye. Exceptional work. Bravo!!!!!

Very interesting copy you have included with your fractal image. This image reminds me of being inside a gigantic nautilus and looking upward. Super work.

Great image and marvellous idea ... the composition has a fractal aspect that seems to contain the spirit of the text ... the principle of entropy, the step of the order to the chaos, and again from the chaos to the order... ;-) Hugs
