Description
Hello all!
I haven't been around for some time, studies and work have taken lots of time. This dark, Swedish winter is also hard on me but I have my ways to cope with it, and the light is slowly returning to us.
One way to cope is to spend time in nature.
This shot if taken by the small lake close to my home. This shard of ice caught my eye, resembling a wing of ice, floating in the water.
Take care, everybody!

I can definitely see why this piece of ice caught your eye. Sorry the winter is so hard for you. One way I cope with the snow season is to break it down into weeks instead of months; for example, most folks here will say there are three months of winter. I say there are twelve weeks of winter. For some reason, counting it off by weeks makes it seem a lot shorter and you get to kiss a week of winter goodby every week! Whereas, counting it off by months seems to take forever. I realise that in Sweden, winter lasts for a lot longer, but I think it still could help you, if you tried counting it off that way.
Liam.
Very well done

How wonderful to see this! It doesn't get cold enough here for ice to form like that, and it took me a minute to figure out what I was looking at. Great capture!
