Description
Here's a view of where I'm at so far. I've run into difficulty with the model. Therefore I did some research and found that according to "The Encyclopedia of Military Modelling" (yes, it is an actual book and must-have for anyone serious about modelling), the model I'm making is actually considered a "composite". Earlier I dicussed the difference between "kitbashing" and scratch-building". What I failed to realize and mention is that a model that has elements of both methods is called a "composite model". Therefore, my Shadowsword Project is actually a composite model. Additionally, "kit-bashed" is another term for "conversion". From what I can tell, both phrases mean the same thing and are equally acceptable for everyday use in the modelling community. Modelling competitions are another story...

Love the tank. This would look amazing scaled up to 1/35 - even bigger than the German Maus! Gave up 1/35 modelling a few years ago to concentrate on CGI and 12" action figures.
