Description

Hello, I´m back :) Because I´m so fascinated by Steven Spielbergs Blockbuster "War of the worlds", I "played" 4 days with bryce 5.5 to design one of these mysterios tripods as "realistic" as possible. After that I did some postwork with PSE2 I hope you like it; also I want to say thank you for your comments on my last pictures. Greets, Julian

I recently saw this movie for the first time (on television). You nailed the alien ships (?) dead on! Great job.

These are just great. I, too, loved War of the Worlds; it was under-rated. You've caught a real "sense of menace" with the tripods. I like the second image better-- its suggestive, menacing, without knowing exactly why. There's a bit of that in "Cloverfield" -- things that you see out of the corner of your eye.

Thank you for your comments! @Crocodilian: Yes you're right, the first one shows 'too much' detail, but I thought the second would look to incomplete alone. So I rendered the scene again from another perspective.
