Description

This was my drive home today... It took almost 3 hours to drive 55 miles. There were a number of vehicles in the grass like this white truck. Everything closed early today. Police would only respond to injury accidents. They said this is the worst snow storm in 10 years. I've lived here 13 years and I must have missed the last one. Be safe!

We're having the same record breaking winter snow here on the mountain passes, I couldn't even drive to the wedding I had to shoot, I had to fly over the treacherous roads!!! Excellent slice of life shot!!!!!!!

I was watching the Ice Road Truckers on TV the other night, I don't think they had it this bad. I don't think we have had it that bad since the sixties. Stay warm and healthy folks. Excellent capture. Bravo!!!!!

All I can say, is I'm glad I'm no longer driving. However your image does bring back alot of nice memories when I was out on the road. As for all the snow, we've been lucky in northern Iowa, only 1 blizzard so far. And the majority of the snow's have fallen to our south and east. Thank you for sharing this wonderful real life photo of life in the midwest.

I remember the winters like this when I lived in northern Illinois as a kid.The nice part about living farther south in Missouri is that the white stuff usually melts after a couple of days. Back to your pic. This should be on the front page of the local nespaper. Great reality shot.

It seems the winter in America is something others as in Berlin.... We had snow here for 2 times: 1st of january for 2 hours and at the beginning of march - for 1 hour....and that was all. But now: The winter here started today, two days before the easter days and exactly at the beginning of the easters holiday season. Momentary it is stormy and in middle Germany we have 20-40 cm snow in one night. Absolutely outstanding. Drive careful! Thanks for sharing.
