Description

Resistance fighters, badly outnumbered, retreat across the inhospitable Khalid Desert to the safety of Abudakan,a heavily guarded fortress city sympathetic to the freedom fighters as they battle the ruthless forces of the Tassil-N-Ajaad.With barely any fuel, and low on ammo, the ships limp into the sanctuary of the desert city to refuel and rest before heading back into battle. Ships created in bryce with a combination of preset shapes and some freebee shapes from spacebones, rendered in a rust texture from adrian3dart combined with my own bump-map.All other mats and sky are customized bryce presets.Postwork in photoshop. Thanks for viewing and comments.

Nice scene and ships! I might suggest either upping the resolution of the nearer sand or smoothing out the jaggies on some of the ridges in post, though. (minor nit)

Super ATMOS, Neil. Really like your planet surface and the sense of movement here. Looks like one of the ships suffered a direct hit. Great DOF as well.
