Description
I was given the assignment of modeling a large-scale scene with a bridge in it. Living in Israel, I've developed a very close afinity for the Ottoman Turkish style of architecture. So, I looked for an Ottoman built bridge, and decided upon the 'Sari Bridge' in Mostar, Bosnia, as my prototype.
This is an 'inspired' work, rather than an exact copy. The large building to the left is, in my recreation, a Citadel, based loosely up the Shechem (Damascus) Gate of the Old City wall in Jerusalem.
This project is proving to be an interesting challenge, and one I wish to share with all or you.

Well this is simple but excellent modeling, and the integration of the perspective of your 3D elements in the photographed scene is perfect. As you proved great talent to apply textures, if the photo (and this one is ecellent) matches the 3D render from the point of view of light adjustment, you can create a great and photo-realistic scene with the combination of the photographic and of the 3D elements. I agree with what you said that it is an interesting challenge! 5+!

I know the project is finished by now, but thought to let you know I'm playing "catch-up" yet again. Like the colours, billiards came to mind but that slant on the right would be a little nerve-wracking.
