Poser and photoshop... Ya know the feeling you get when you walk away from your long composed and perfect Bryce render and go do the dinner dishes and tend to your nightly routine ...knowing that in a few hours you can return to your finished product and commence with your touch up work and when you arrive....you have a frozen computer and the blue screen of death...well I know it too! My suggestion...have a cold one! Just having some fun!!
Have a great one!! Peace !!

Stop in the name of pixels!! There is no real back ground job in PC. One must watch it every minute to see the fleeting messages, the slowly moving line that takes the screen from nothing to an image. Even downloads have that "server rejected packet" or the one on dial up "you have 30 seconds to indicate you wish to continue" that comes after three hours out of what looks like at least twenty-four.

Vista? Might be time to upgrade to XP.

I know the feeling. I had to stop one myself the other day and redo all the settings... it was going to take 4 days!

I've only crashed Bryce once and it was my fault. In tree editor.. I wanted to see what would happen if I set leaves to max. The leaf count is exponential and would have resulted in billions of leafs.. CRASH!!!! Otherwise, Bryce has been a champ. Now Poser? It locks up if you use the mouse, keyboard or monitor.. lol. I'm using Poser5 and save often (when I can..sometimes it won't let you save without destroying your work progress... bone room) I never use Poser without the occasional blast of profanity aimed at the program. Then there is Windows. Ever get a pop-up stating that an update has just been completed and the system will auto-reboot in 15 seconds and you better save your current work and exit all applications. Or had Dial-up that needs to download a service Pac of 250+ megabytes and estimates download time to be 75 hours, assuming no interruptions. What are they thinking???? Fun(?) render Michele. Hits home. Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

Excellent render sweetie.. I hate when that happens... And the pop ups as well Hugs Susan~

The point is to preserve your humor, and as I see, you do. Nice presentation.

I'd love a cold one, and yes I've been a victim of the blue screen of death, it was nearly closely followed by a laptop flying out of the window. Great image Michele. Tony :-)

Great Render!! You caught the rage perfectly!! That would be me when the newer computer chose to totally freeze because it felt Apo, PSP, and downloading a script was a bit much for it. Grrrr. And I tend to agree with Paulis75 who suggested upgrading from Vista to XP, LOL!
