Description
In the village of Cockington,in the county of Devon, a couple of miles from where I live is a Forge.
The original building was built in the 10th century and is mentioned in the Doomesday Book of 1086
Largely destroyed by fire, it was re-built in 1345 to it's current design.It was still in use up to 1971 when as children, we used to watch the blacksmith at work.
Cockington is the village where I got married.

Gosh Steve this brings back some good memories, I used to live down Cockington Lane near the seafront when I got married. Wife and I spent many happy times in the village and the park. Excellent work Steve! Hope all is well with you.
