Thankyou for your comments :) I use Dreamlight's Light Dome Pro from Daz3d.com for most of my renders - particulary the low cloudy setting ( which I used here) because it gives just a really nice even overall soft lighting effect. The shadows thrown by this setting are extremely soft and often don't appear very visible - however they are there. I need to adjust the settings from now on to give better results. The rest of the effect applied to this image was just a new screen and overlay layers in photoshop to give the colours a little more contrast. Finally a cloud layer was applied and softly masked to give the mist appearance - another effect maybe a little common in my work. Hope that helps :)

Vallejo is one of my favourite artists and certainly a source of inspiration as I grew up. To have my stuff mentioned in the same breath is his is an absolute humbling honour and I thankyou Jerusha for the praise!! :)

Very much nice work. Before all the scenery has well succeeded. By the fog the picture works very intensely on me. Also the figure adapts itself harmoniously.
