"The very purpose of existence is to reconcile the glowing opinion we have of ourselves with the appalling things that other people think about us." ~ Quentin Crisp
The quote has no application to the image, but I liked it. ;'P Some of you may remember that I did a series of Blurstractions™ (coined term, heheheh) a while back. They are intentionally blurred images (moving the camera while releasing the shutter) taken to achieve an abstract effect. Well, it is the time of year again when the light is condusive during my commute home for this sort of thing. Also, I just got the bug to try doing some more ot them. The photo is of tailights in trafffic and the lighter portion at the top right is the darkening sky. Postwork included rotating the image 90 degrees, noise reduction, hot spot removal, levels and saturation adjustment, resizing, frame and signature addition. -----

Love these! Takes me back to high school when we would do these with film, remember film? I hope you only shoot these from a dead stop! Fascinating and brilliant!

Really cool lighting and colors. I do this also but not with such impressive results. Todd
