Description
Minnolta 102SLR...This was taken out the door(bottom half is closed) of my Alaskin(it raises-it lowers)designed and built during/for the construction of the Al-Kan highway-rerigerator,stove, propane heat, & sleeps 4-Google Alaskin camper. Have been up there dozen+times-twice leaving large parts of our hearts behind..a few words about which i cannot read without crying...
My Friend
A friend of God took me by the hand one day
showed me a place he liked to play.
With no fancy windows, golden arches or tithing fees to pay.
He had no family, money, or religeous identity.
He was a bastard from the pound of reality.
Never ceasing to amaze me,
his strength and honesty-
a big, loveable, "good"kinda crazy.
Transending the cruilties that be
of social services in the fourties.
Schooled at "Hard Knocks" became an Entity
with a PHD in personality.
Entered a room like a Christmas tree
with a laughter better than whisky.
I could look at his face forever,
not knowing what was commin next
if the tears could only clear the trees.
Look, hes there on the breeze...
..and theres Frank(bird tatto) too, see!
(Have got to come up and see what you've done with the place. You both had such nice gardens-it probably looks like a flowermart-hehee!) I know, we're moving alot slower these days and hey its all up hill-do you know what gas cost these days? The new animal(getting old)has never been, can you believe that! Miss you terribly and always love you. PS: The family is not so much, the girls are in Ark.-Dan married, has one Dandie and she came with one & Peter is in Brazil-married and dont know if he has a little Peter. Jim retired and moved to Flo Duh, got a wirey haired pup named Yo Duh-its so wierd and Loddi up and moved back to Trxas(he made a half million in 2 yrs on his house-you never knew him)the same July Jim moved-was not a good time. Things are SO different! Do you have an e-mail address?...never mind, i love you!)

Cool frame for a pretty simple and common image-- makes it so much more. And the letter is wonderful.

I have always thought that the beauty in nature is a reflection of God. Wonderful heartfelt words in this prose
