Description

Who ever said that Security work was dull... I remember that night like it was yesterday. I was doing my usual rounds out on the Sand Banks when I spotted a light coming from the other side of a sand dune. I figured it was just a bunch of kids having a party after hours. As I drove up the hill, the light started to pulse... the air around me went cold. It was damn weird... aside from the whine of my ATV I couldn't hear anything, no music, kids... nuthin'. I gunned it over the top of the dune expecting to find the kids scattering only to see 'it'. I have no idea how long it had been there but I can tell you it was damn strange lookin' ... it was just floating there. The thing was about as long as a transport truck... As I drove closer the pulsing lights slowed to a steady beam. I shut of my ATV to see if I could get a better look at it. It was incredible, the surface had a strange pattern on it and on the bottom there were three large protusions on it. I was never into the sci fi crap but I could only asume that they were what was keeping the thing up. As I got closer the light was getting brighter and the air colder, I could now see my breath. Not daring to get any closer, I pulled out my digital camera and snapped this picture. The flash must have cought their attention 'cause the crafts engines got realy bright and it started to rise up away from the ground. A few seconds later the craft started moving forward and with intence flash of light it sped away. I was left staring up in the sky with my mouth hanging wide open shivering in the cold. I stood like that for what seemed to be an eternity, until a Killdeer's cry snapped me out of my trance. I started my ATV back up again and finished my rounds. I worked that job for the rest of the summer, but I dever saw the thing again. *** I was just testing out a mid size space craft that I'm working on. I liked the pic enough that I felt I should up load it. If any one is interested I'll upload a couple of profile shot of the craft so you can see it better. Comments & suggestions as usual are always welcome.
