February 9th,2001 at 9:20am...
My Mother was at Hospice. I couldn't find a pulse. I put my head on her chest and heard her last two heartbeats... She went to Heaven. She left her 5 children in charge of her cabin which I helped build in the early 80s. She had bought her land, 2 acers, in the early 70s. We use to call the property "The Land". We built the Cabin, then it was known as "The Cabin"...shortly after it was built, my Mom chose to call her land/cabin RESTFULL ACRES.

Oh Mike I am so sorry for your loss. It is never easy, even if we know the time will come. But she will always be in yours hearts and memories. And I am sure her spirit will always surround you. Lovely tribute to your mother. So sorry Mike. Big hugs.

god bless you my brother and your sweet mother, i love my mother so dearly and so much fear the day god must take her, my life as you know it bro is very depresing at this time and i wish i could tell you things i should be telling you. this is a very beautiful piece of work mike and i highly appreciate your friendship and support. her cabin is very beautiful as i'm sure of the land it's on also. thanks for sharing this moment with us all here at rendo bro, lol steve

Mike, I am truly saddened to hear of your mother's passing but I am so happy that you were with her at the end. She had love around her when she went, she was not alone. One can only hope that they leave the world with many good memories for those left behind. It sounds as though your mother paved her way to heaven with love. Bless you and your brothers and sisters. I lost my mom last year, on the 13th, after a five year battle with cancer. I too was with her at the end and am glad I was. My dad and I home cared for her and it was so hard at times. Even now, I find I have not fully bounced back. But I treasure every moment I had with her, even the sad ones. I think this is a beautiful dedication to your Mom!

I can understand and feel your pain at the loss of your mother. I lost mine January 2, 2000. We buried her January 7th, the day before my birthday. I miss her still. Beautiful tribute to your mom. in the short time I've known you, I can tell she raised a very good son! Bless you
