Description
Another exercise in visual narrative with very few visual elements. Again, just a render in DAZ Studio.
As with the previous image: Whatever visual elements there are, they should be there to push the "story" forward. If you would like to "read" this picture's story from its visual elements and let me know what you come up with, I'd appreciate it. I'd like to know how effective this narrative is.
Unlike with the previous visual story, this one is sort of an illustration. I suspect that the story should be familiar to most, although it is probably not a very unique one plot-wise. I tried not to focus too much on time-place details as to not narrow it down too much by those factors, but if you'd like to guess the actual novel behind it, I'd also appreciate it a lot.
Thanks for viewing.

I wouldn't say this is from a Beginner, it's just wonderful, with great details and light.... and of course one can imagine a lovely and romantic story behind it. My compliments ;O)

Dear Antaran, your image holds a very deep silence. It is like we have to be quiet to look at it, like when we enter the library or something. It shows a secrecy and its silence. It is a very beautful work. Also how the silhouette of their bodies has a zigzag the same way the staircase does. It is very well composed. Thank you for sharing it. Nina

This is a very cinematic shot. I could see this angle being used in a lot of contemporary movies made of this time and setting. Your composition is spot on. I would actually pump up the contrast, possibly even purposely blow out some of the whites just to heighten the tension in the neutral color scheme, and also the tension in the sadness of the scene. My heart breaks for them. Breaking up is never an easy thing to do. :) One more thing, I would reduce the extremities of the pose on the male character. It's much louder than the rest of the scene and I think it's actually detracting from it rather than adding to it.
