Just a guy aspiring to become great like so many artists that post to this forum. I am currently in my last semester of college, getting a degree in Information Systems and Technology, but my true love is art. I have been drawing since I was 3 years old (shame my work doesn't show this), and sculpting for over 13 years now. When I first saw Poser in Jan. of 2002, I new I had to give 3-D CG a try. I hope that you will enjoy my work half as much as I've had fun making it.

Oh, I almost forgot. Among the many things in this picture that need help is the water in the fountain. If anybody knows of any tutorials that may help me "liven" this up, please let me know! Thanks!

Hey pretty good. To get a torch look, the best way I can think of to get a sconce of some kind put a spotlight right up on that wall on and 40 degree angle up and adjust the lighting to get what you want, then the rest can be touched up in postwork. As for the water in the fountain... Send me an e-mail at ladyblue@ladyblue.org , and I'll show you how I did the water in Richabri's fountain in my gallery.

looks great - love that lighting and the wicked expression on her face. looks like you updated it and fixed the jpeg compression banding :) i like that little crack on the upper right of the wall you added - little touches like that give it a lot more realism. cheers, -gabriel

I am not a renderer, so I won't be of much help to you... but I do sketch and paint......... don't know how to "lighten" this up, but we would be able to see more of your work if it could be brighter, somehow. :)
