Description

I call this wall, my 'wailing wall', because many years ago, I built it myself. By the time I put many boxes of rocks in the back of the car, and the hood was rising, I knew that was enough weight and drove home from Cowichan Bay and built a little more. There were many trips. After all that rock hauling, and all the bending while I built, my back was certainly wailing. Anyway, the wall has now been there long enough that there's a fair amount of moss on it, and today, during a brief spell of sunshine, it looked quite good. Thanks for stopping by!

Never have heard of a Wailing Wall until now grin But after all the tugging, lifting, then going back to tug, drop and position the rocks I can see why you call it the Wailing Wall Mayhaps I can go there when I want to vent out my frustration...grin Of course will never get to but can envison it in my minds eye and it would be just as well... Love the angle and the light on this image as well.... You come up with the neatest things... Hugs Your sis Susan~

I gotta laugh at your story. Every year when I start putting my gardens in shape, I make several trips to the nursy for compost, fertilizer, mulch, enriched top soil... and I have a little Ford Escort. I load the trunk until the front seems a little light and then drive ever so slowly avoiding any bumps in the road until I can get it all home and go back for more. Love your wall.

This is a lovely close-up shot of that well lit moss Chris. And a lovely story behind it too. I'm sure your back has recovered by now and you can enjoy the fruits of your labour. Hugs Chrissy xx
