Description

Hello ! After a lousy night and a exhausted sunday I finally had a good nights sleep. the night before I had 2 hours sleep being sick with fever and headache and tummy pains. Good it came AFTER my big b-day party of mine saturday, which was such a wonderful party, even though I had headache all day. I only drank water at the party. SO no hang overs :). When my Oldest son came with family, there was a big surprice. My grandson 10 years old was suddently a girl. My grand daughter at 7 years old, was a little baby and my youngest grandson at 5½ looked as a NINJA turtle. Everybody got so confused, because my oldest grandson was dressed so good, that we almost couldnt recognize him. How could Noa the girl already grow so big and where was Sagi, the boy? Oh I could tell many stories of the reactions, from the guests, but il stop here :))) This picture is taken in the area of my childhood. Look at the sky. I think I got a special light in this shot. I had to try to catsh that light. Thank you for stopping by and for your so kind comments to yesterdays post. Have a splendid day, all my friends. Grey but very peaceful weather today. MY gr. daughter is painting and painting so beautifully. Maybe il make a collage and post it here, as I did once before.. :)

That light caught my eye first thing. I can imagine what it looked like for real. Happy Birthday, Helle! Sounds like you had a great birthday. I loved reading about your grandchildren's changing identities. Glad you feel better now. Hugs, Zann

Thanks To all for your nice words. Zann, actually my b-day was the December the 26th, but this time I became 60 and wanted to collect all my family for a big party on a Reataurant. We havent got so much place for big parties here in our little vacation house.. and so near Chistmas I couldnt get that date on the Restaurant. Therefor we had it saturday. It was to wonderful and I got so many warm and loving hugs from friends and every one of the family members. Even my old mom at 95 was with us and she lasted so nicely for many hours, before my brother took her home :) The place on this shot is from Copenhagen, which I forgot to tell.

I have a list of images of yours that I always wanted to comment on. This was one. I love the many textures you got here on either side of the road. I love the messiness of all the things in the shot, like an in-between place where power lines are stored, and strange things are strewn all over that nobody deals with or cares much about. And that big dusty road in the center—a perfect divider. This could be a scene out of a town in our Midwest. And then that sky—big and mean and lowering down, where even the blue patches are filled with dark clouds. Lots of stuff happening here, I love the disarray, and it feels very much like home to me too. Would love to walk there...a very 'real' shot. A fav.
