Hi everyone hope you all had a good weekend, the weather was lovley where I was this weekend I was in the yorkshire dales a very beautiful place and lots of lovley walks, I went on a very long walk yesterday (aching now lol) just thought i'd share some pics with you , this house is dated 1876 and is set right in the middle of the countryside, I really enjoyed my long walk the beauty around was breath taking and i was lucky to have a lovely sunny day although it wasnt't as clear as I would have liked, it was hazy on the tops as you will see with a pic i'll put on tomorrow. thanks for all your comments love cj xx

this has a bit of a spooky feel to it .the dales are lovely at any time of year and fantastic for long walks as you say .you`ve captured a great feel to this old house caroline .top marks :o)..we have glorious sunshine today aswell mick

Forgive my lack of comments lately, I am way behind with your gallery but have been looking, and you are taking some really excellent photos. This one is amongst them, and brings back memories for me as this is one of my most fave places to be up North, jut the next county to mine, and you are right there is some breathtaking views. So bright and cheerful,this one Cj, great composition sunlight and shadows. I love yorkshire too, my Mother, and her mother were from Ingleton. looking at this makes me want to get out walking again and of course to get some good shots.

Oh well, this answers my guess about location :) The composition of this piece is wonderful. It would work well in a sepia tone as well, perhaps with darkened edges. My score is '5'.
