Description

One night I was watching reruns of Star Trek and got a strong urge to do a 3D sketch of Spock. I was intending on just doing a quick 2 hour sketch, but I just couldn't stop myself and kept going. After 4 days, I had to move on to some other pending projects, but I finished him up as best I could in that time. The rendering is done in ZBrush with several passes (shown below) then composited together in Photoshop. I added a very slight DOF effect using a ZDepth grab. Then painted over parts of the hair to soften the edge of his bangs. And also worked on the background in post.
