I am confused...what year is it? All along I was thinking it was 2008. Not according to the Chinese. So who's right, and who's wrong. Maybe One Mass of Peoples are Right, and the Others are wrong. Or...perhaps both are correct, or both are incorrect. Or perhaps, who really gives a f--k. Many do, that's who...I really couldn't care less..although I do find the subject matter quite interesting, to say the least. Being of Chinese Descent, as citizens in the USA, probably explains why the Banners in this photo say 2008...most likely out of respect for the beliefs of the majority of the United States Citizens, and our traditions. After all, how could the Chinese believe it is the New Year of 4706, yet display the Date of 2008 AD on those Banners? As I just said, I think it is out of respect...from my experiences with the Chinese people, they are generally very respectful peoples. Anyways, Happy Chinese New Year...for those of you who give a sh-t, The Year of The Rat. I'm still confused though...what is the real New Year? What time is it? Where am I?
