Description
one of the ringnecks i photograph around here. i was trying to catch the way the light changes the colors on its head and the red around his eye.
i took this with my ef 35-80mm 1:4-5.6 iii
i believe and yes hes alive.lol although he doesnt care for the flash. im pretty sure ill be posting a few more photos of him.

Fantastic macro, that eye is spot on the iridescent colouring is fantastic, I would say you did pretty well at capturing it. Bravo!!!!!
