I couldn't come to this site without visiting your gallery, and decided to talk a little bit with this picture...you've made this look like a painting, you've flattened the depth a bit by drawing attention to the surfaces, and they shine forth in an almost night glow, strange & mysterious & fiery. And your eagle looks like it's appearing from some apparition's-plane and has 'materialized' for the photo with a flash. (That shadow emphasizes this!) As always, your backgrounds speak eloquently after a few viewings, and here (yes!) you have these splotches across the walls, making this really look like a painting, where the splotches speak of paint & surface, and make this look even more in-one's-face & bold. However it's done, it's an intense, night-blinding blast of a bird, with more than meets the eye and a lot of passion. (A note to myself: Look at Odie's pictures several times: They will reveal layers!)
