My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Super color blends, clarity, composition and textures, young lady. A lovely macro capture of the blossoms, depicting the Elizabethan period in history, Tara!

Lilacs are probably my favorite spring flower. Thanks for reminding me that they'll soon be in bloom.

Oooh, Lilacs...I miss their smell...as a kid, I'd always get intoxicated by their scent while listening to cicadas (the non 17-year kind) and watching grackles and starlings blacken the sky. It was usually after a long day of wrecking corners of the garden with ongoing battles between MY Star Wars Action figures and those of the neighbor kids. Mine always won, due to technological superiority. I was a weird kid, but this image, especially its exquisite detail and color, brings back those memories, and I'd love to smell lilacs and hear cicadas some time soon. This is a great post!
