Description
Created with Corel Pinter X and a bit of help from Photoshop. I havent painted anything in a very long time so it was a relief to finish this, i think its finished anyway... The original title was "The Platonists Apocrypha" but it seemed a bit arty!

This is an astoundingly beautiful image! It's full of mood and atmosphere; it has a fantastic sense of movement and I can sense so much bubbling just below the surface of this. It's amazing artwork on every level, and most easily one of the best works of science fiction related art I've seen in a LONG time! Most definitely one of my favorites and something I'd be honored to have hanging on my wall.
