Description

Does this look real ??? that is the question ... If you do not think so then please give me some tips to make it look better.

I'd say it looks pretty darned real! I'm sure some perfectionist will find "something" to bitch about, but at a glance it looks very believeable. Great work.

The model and textures look very nice, I wouldn't change them at all. The lighting does have just a slight flaw that I can tell you tried to address already. Your shadow map size are not detailed enough and are causing the chair to look like it is floating. The only way to fix this is to use many many lights (in a dome formation which you probably already did). You would have to play with the number of lights but I would start with around 80 and go up from there. Your other option would be to use one of the many render plugins out there (Brazil or Vray perhaps) and make use of their skylight feature. You have a great model there.

this looks real but don't be intimidated multimediaman. this is actually very simple to do. a good quality texture is the key to realism, as is the lighting. this chair would be super easy to model, and it would be even simpler to scan the texture for the plastic. a good radiosity solution and viola! realism. what would be HARD would be to put this chair in a dynamically lighted environment and still have it look real.

well almost, but I think you need to work on the steel and the checker texture is too blurry, needs some detail on it like try supersampling

Very nice job. The things that need to be fixed have already been mentioned. SO all that's left is to congradulate you on a well done render. CONGRADULATIONS

Very good work, I'd make the fabric strips wider, just to make it look more comfey. As for the chrome tube, I worked in oil patch construction for many years, and every tubing bender I ever used, always left bender marks, or impressions from the bending shoe. If you added this subtley it would give it that not so perfect look. Other than that I give it an 8. Exellent!
