I think it looks cool, but the lighting could be a little lighter and the figure a little closer. It looks that you are on the right track with this program and hope to see more of your work.

Oh man that is so good! I think the Drow's skin needs brighter highlights, or perhaps the scene needs an additional distant, ambient-only light source.

Very nice image for a first one. But I agree with what has been said about the light. Have a look at the shadow the figure casts. With such a strong shadow and the lenght of it, the figure should be much lighter. The ladie's feet are not touching the ground. Also increase the resolution of the terrain to 512. This gives a better look to the ground where the lady is standing on. At least, try to render Broadcast. Good luck! this is a very good beginning:-). Remember that nice images often needs lot more time then only 10 minutes.
