Description

This is for a lady who has become such a close friend Jane Eden and in all honesty she made this easy for me with the amazing details she provided from her past. Jane is simply one of the best at capturing little puppies and kittens at play. She has a talent for catching them at just the right moment as she snaps their pictures. Then she adds that magical touch of her's to the images and produces some of the most beautiful and heart warming photos you could ever see. Being a animal lover I became a instant fan of her work and after spending some time messaging her I became a fan of Jane as a person also. She has a kind spirit and gentle nature that everyone should strive for and is someone I am honored to call my friend. I spent a couple of nights looking over her stories and this little one stood out so much that I had to do it for her. Milk Barn Helpers ( For Jane Eden ) : Among the many adorable stories Jane shared was of when her Pop-Pop would take her to his friends how had a farm. There they would milk cows by hand in those days and the kitties would gather around to get what spilled. Well I can almost visualize the old farmer milking away in that old barn as Jane's brother Geoffrey would keep the cow calm by petting it and feeding it. Jane was the smart one because she took advantage of this situation to play with the kitties as they fed on the milk. Hope you all enjoyed it and please keep Jane's Grandson in your prayers and thoughts. Dearest Dave thank you so much for this breathtaking work of yours, you have transported me back to those happier days in my childhood so very well my dear friend. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this wonderful dedi, I am deeply honoured by it all and feel overwhelmed. You have captured a moment in time that I thought just lived in my memory but your artistic talent has brought it into these times so that it can be shared with what has become my extended family here on Renderosity and this makes me so happy. The whole creation is amazing and of course those kitties are exceptional, I just love them. I cannot wait to let my daughter know she will be delighted with this superb artwork, but especially my mother who of course remembers those days still at her age of 92 - God Bless you Davy hugs Jane xx

Oh I really like this one Dave...brings back so many memories...when I was a child we too had to milk by hand...I remember being taught to milk...I just couldn't get the hang of it at first...and I ended up with a face full of warm milk as my brother Dennis laid there rolling on the barn floor laughing at me...but in time I did learn and Dennis got his pay back as I sqirted his face full of milk, he wasn't laughing then.......LOL....thank y ou for the memory...hugz

I remember wandering into a barn when I was a very wee tyke. I spotted a cow and figured that milking couldn't be that hard to do. The cow had other ideas and I soon found myself kicked into the proverbial gutter. LOL Excellent image, wonderful dedication, and a big thanks for posting this.

As usual Dave, very distinctive style and artwork. Excellent as always. I like how you put so much effort into your work. I wonder how many even noticed the mans leg on the other side of Mrs. Moo Juice? Even though I've never even been near to a cow, this sure comes close. Bravo and best wishes from Dave :^)

This is so cute! When I was a kid, I loved to go to my cousins' farm. They had milking machines, but they still had a wood-burning cookstove, pump, and an outhouse!

There's so much of what traditional country life was about a couple of decades ago, in this wonderful creation of yours, Dave. The simplest and most modest features of such living were excuses for having fun, and what you're showing us here ''speaks'' to me. A loving and generous dedication for Jane.

Your "Picture's worth a Thousand Words" gallery is one of the best! More charming childhood memories. I've got a childhood memory you might relate to: Standing on the street corner, with your siblings, clutching in your hands, a small allowance, eagery waiting to spend it on the Good Humor Ice Cream truck driving up the Maple tree shaded street, on a bright warm summer afternoon.
